This is Jordan and his friend/co-worker Tim before they left for the parade in their dress whites. Yes, Jacob is rearing back to punch Jordan in the leg. What can I say? Terrible 2's? He can be a little monster at times. I couldn't get him to get out of the picture and he was also unwilling to be a part of the picture but oh well. It gives it character. At least the guys look handsome. Jordan had to be there an hour early and I knew Jacob wouldn't last that long before the parade even started. We went down to the parade with our neighbor Rebecca and her boys Jacob and Ethan and that was a lot of fun.
Here is the start of the parade.
The first thing was the bag pipes. Bag pipes always make me feel like crying. I'm not sure what song they were playing but I got choked up. There were a lot of them and it was really loud. Jacob covered his ears.
Jordan's group was first so we didn't have to wait long.
That's my friend Sofie on the right.
There is the back of Jordan's head! Can you pick him out? I know I failed at getting a picture of him marching but I was looking for him so hard that I didn't get any close of pictures of the group and I didn't spot him til he was right in front of me so I took an unidentifiable picture of the back of his head!Since Jordan came first, I didn't take any more pictures of the parade after that. It seemed like the whole town was in the parade and some of the people started throwing candy to us so I put away my camera. I wanted to enjoy the parade and make sure Jacob didn't run into the street.
Jordan came back down and watched the rest of the parade with us. It is practically IMPOSSIBLE to get Jacob to look at the camera these days.
See? He's watching the parade.
Me 18 weeks pregnant, Jacob heading for a sugar induced melt down and Jordan the man in uniform.
After the parade when we were walking down Duval, Rebecca's Jacob saw this deer hunter arcade game he wanted to play so we stopped in there and Jordan played with him. Then he let our Jacob have a turn and then he convinced me to go a round. It was...hard. I lost.
Jacob was so into it.
Wow he is taking this hunting REALLY serious!
Thankfully there are no pictures of me hunting. :) Happy Veteran's Day!
